Shown here in Championship White, This pre-facelift, JDM EP3 Honda Civic Type-R is very different to its UKDM counterpart. Built and Completed in the Swindon Honda Factory this more 'track focussed' Type-R benefits from the Japanese built K20A engine. This engine produces 212BHP over the UKDM 197BHP thanks to a special balanced crankshaft assembly, higher compression pistons, higher-lift camshafts and a lightweight flywheel. Combined with a different intake manifold, exhaust manifold and ECU tuning. This translates to a 5.8 second 0-60 time and a top speed of 146 MPH. This example has the Tegiwa Induction system fitted which certainly opens up that throaty vTEC note.

The Interior has the Red Recaro Race Seats which are the most desirable seats you will get in a Civic, The Carpets throughout are Red as are the Carpet floor mats. The Honda is fitted with a double-Din Pioneer head unit.

This car is supplied with a huge file of history, invoices and books. All the import history is included, the invoices all the way back to the freight information and the VOSA information. The Japanese handbooks are supplied too included both Japanese and UK service books. The Civic is fitted with a Cat 1, TOAD alarm system.
